Degree in biotechnology and molecular biology in 2010. She made her PhD thesis, entitled "Study of resistance mechanism of transgenic hybrid  Citrus sinensis plants against Citrus  psorosis virus". This thesis was defended in 2015, obtaining the degree of PhD.

She is member of the International Organization of Citrus Virologists (IOCV) and developed numerous research that were published in national and international conferences, and international journals, such as Journal of Phytopathology.
